Q: Who can join the Credit Union?
A: Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Montgomery or Stewart counties in Tennessee or Christian, Trigg, or Todd counties in Kentucky.

Q: How do I reorder checks?
A: You can reorder most checks online through Harland. You may also reorder most checks through our Contact center or at any branch. Checks that cannot be ordered online include, but are not limited to, free checks for seniors, employee checks, and checks for special programs.

Q: How can I apply for a loan?
A: You can apply for a loan 24/7 by applying online, calling us 24/7 at 931.431.6800 or toll free at 800.821.5891 (option #2), or visiting any branch!

Q: How do I change my address with Fortera Credit Union?
A: If you need to change your address with us, please do so in writing. When updating your address, please include your account number, name, new address, and new phone number (if it changed). Be sure to include your signature as well. Fax your request to 931.431.2028 or mail it to our main office at:

Q: Can I view the current rate information on the website
A: Of course! We update our rate information on our web page whenever our rates change. We often post our rate changes to the website a few days before the changes go into effect to ensure you stay up-to-date. Visit our Rates Page.

Q: What should I do if I lose my Fortera Credit Union Visa® or Fortera Credit Union Visa® Debit Card®
A: If you ever lose your Fortera Credit Union debit card during business hours, you should immediately call 800.821.5891 or 931.431.6800. If your debit card is lost during non-business hours, you should immediately call 800.264.5578. International callers can call collect at 701.461.0621.

If your credit card is lost, you should immediately call 800.449.7728.

We also recommend reviewing your account to ensure there are no fraudulent charges appearing. If you notice any charges on your account that were not made by you or any joint account holders, please contact us at info@fcfcu.org.

Q: Are my investments insured?
A: Your share accounts are insured up to $250,000 and IRAs are separately insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA. Fortera Credit Union also provides Excess Share Insurance for its members at no additional cost.
